Perforated ulcer

A perforated ulcer is nothing but bleeding ulcer. When the perforated ulcer remains untreated, it burns through the walls of stomach. Treatment of perforated ulcer means undergoing an immediate surgery. Before the ulcer burns through the walls of the stomach, in the initial stages, it is called as peptic ulcer. By taking the x-ray of the stomach areas, diagnosis can be done. Now a day the occurrence of perforated ulcer is declining in a faster rate, but there are some incidents where perforated ulcer occurs. The main causes of the perforated ulcer is smoking and using drugs. Because of the cause of burns, the digestive juice comes out through the wound which causes a severe pain for the person suffering from perforated ulcer. Duodenal ulcers are nothing but part of peptic ulcer diseases. Duodenal ulcer is a very common condition. It is characterized by the presence of demarcated break in the layers of mucosa. Almost 95% of the duodenal ulcers occur in the top part of the duodenum. Eosinophilic ulcer occurs in the tongue of the humans. It is also called as rodent ulcer. It is related to neoplastic disease, systematic disease like auto immune disorders and many other diseases. This ulcer causes a wound in the skin of the tongue.
