Diet for ulcers
There is no specific diet for ulcers, but it is generally advised to reduce large meals because it produces lots of stomach acids which are not good. The diet for ulcers should have controlled spice i.e. chilly, pepper, mustard etc… Alcohol and caffeine should be avoided not only from the diet for ulcers but also from regular diet taken by normal individuals because it raises the risk of getting an ulcer. It is found recently that if omega-3-fatty acids are part of the diet as it reduces the risk for ulcer. The diet of a person affected by ulcer should be mild flavored and easy to digest. The ulcer diet to pri nt means reducing concentration of acids in the food like avoiding citric fruit juices, chilly and other spicy stuffs and increasing the amount of nutrient content in the food. It is usually when the individual is affected with ulcer concentration on the diet for ulcers are given. There are various theories on causation of ulcer. The various factors that cause ulcers are bacteria, stress, overweight, bad diet and alcohol use, excessive stomach acids are the major factors that cause ulcer infection. It is generally safe to prevent these factors to get away from ulcers.
